IMPORTANT*Registration must be accompanied by vet records demonstrating proof of vaccination against rabies, bordetella, and distemper. Puppies must have the first two distemper vaccines and the bordetella vaccination. These vaccinations must be current through class time. Your vet can fax these records to us upon your request.

The latest addition to our training program. Instead of taking two 5 week courses of Basic, then Advanced training courses, this "total" training course combines elements from both into one 7 week course. The purpose of this course is to teach both you and your dog all the commands and strengthen commands you already know, while saving you time and money. Please call if you are interested in this new option.
TRICK CLASS:
Call for time and date information.
During this five week course you and your dog will learn a new, fun trick each week. This class is best suited for dogs who have already mastered the basics. If you think you would be interested in this class please call for more information.
FEISTY FIDO CLASS: Will be held the 3rd Friday each month, call for details
*No Feisty Fido classes will be held on Fridays during holidays ***We also ask anyone interested in taking part in a Feisty Fido class to please call prior to the scheduled class date to reserve your spot. If there is a month when we do not receive calls from interested participants we will post-pone the class. Thank you!

UPDATE:Feisty Fido class has been a SUCCESS! We have regular attendees, and it seems there is a new dog coming each week. This is great, it allows for a good learning environment for the dogs to work on their socialization.
This class is for dogs with mild to moderate aggression toward other dogs. You'll be able to come as often as you want. Ideally, we will get your dog to learn to be comfortable and eventually play with other dogs. All dogs enrolled in Feisty Fido must come wearing a muzzle. Prior to class, you should condition your dog to wear the muzzle so that he does not spend all of his time trying to remove it. This class will be fully supervised by our staff and your dog will have time to socialize and learn acceptable social behavior in a neutral environment.
E-COLLAR CLASSES: PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED
The cost of either e-collar course is $125 + the cost of collar (if applicable).
Like every training tool the electronic collar (e-collar) is counterproductive when used incorrectly. With our e-collar classes you will learn to operate the collar in the correct, safe, and humane way. In fact, we train so that dogs are excited to have the collar on because to them it means freedom from the leash. Keep in mind that with some extra work, dogs can learn all of their commands without the collar. However, the collar offers important benefits with instant and consistent communication. For instance, this is the quickest and most reliable way to get a dog to come when called even in a distracting environment. Imagine your dog reliably coming when called no matter what -- If your dog ran out into traffic and you needed to call him back, a reliable recall could make the difference between life and death.
The dog's size does not matter -- from Labs to Yorkies, we have trained them all. If you're unfamiliar with e-collars or have heard bad things about them, you may have understandable concerns. We invite you to visit with us to learn more about the proper use of e-collars and why this tool is often "just right" for many dogs. We're more than happy to provide several referrals from past clients who have used the e-collar with great success.
You can use any e-collar you own already, or you may wish to purchase one from us -- please call for prices on e-collars. Our markup on the wholesale price for collars is only $10 to cover shipping to you.
 BASIC E-COLLAR TRAINING: PLEASE CALL IF INTERESTED
This course will educate you on the e-collar and how to use it, find your dog's working level, and condition your dog to the clicker. Your dog will learn recall, sit, down, place, and walking on a loose leash. This course will also address any bad habits or poor manners.
ADVANCED E-COLLAR TRAINING: PLEASE CALL IF INTERESTED
For dogs that have completed Basic E-Collar Training. In this class your dog will learn to master commands and perform them reliably even in a distracting environment. This course covers extended sit with distractions, extended down with distractions, extended place with distractions, and heeling on a loose leash with distractions. This course will also address any bad habits or poor manners.
PRIVATE E-COLLAR LESSONS: $60 per hour. Please contact us to arrange dates and times.
In private e-collar lessons, we work one-on-one with you and your dog. Your dog will learn extended sit, extended down, extended place, heeling with a courtesy sit, and recalls with a courtesy sit and will learn to perform these even in a distracting environment. You will be expected to work with your dog for 30 minutes daily to practice the commands. Private lessons are scheduled in the afternoon or evening and we will try to work around your schedule throughout the six weeks we meet.
PRIVATE LESSONS: Private lessons without e-collar are taught at $60 per hour.
Your dog will learn the same commands as above with natural limitations on the recall since this is the hardest command to achieve reliability in a distracting environment. However, with some extra work and dedication on your part, your dog can eventually master this important skill even in a distracting environment.
BOARDING SCHOOL: $800 to learn all commands.
For a variety of reasons, you may be unable to train your dog at home yourself, or perhaps you would simply feel better if your dog's training was done entirely by an expert. In our "boarding school", you dog boards with us and learns sit, down, place, recall, heel, and all extended commands. We'll also address any and all behavior problems you'd like to work on. By the time your dog goes home he will know important commands like reliably coming when called, walking nicely on a leash, and sitting at the door instead of bolting out. Because all dogs learn at a different pace, we teach all commands at a flat price no matter how long it takes. The average time is just four weeks to learn all commands, but if it takes longer there is no extra cost to you!
Our training comes guaranteed -- that means if you have problems later on, we will consult and help you free of charge. If we can't help over the phone, we will actually meet with you and your dog and help him get back on track.
