FAQs
Can my dog go in the play group?
Yes if they are neutered at 9 months of age and dog friendly.
Can you board a dog if she is in heat?
Yes, there is an additional $5.00 per day for females in heat.
Can you board young puppies?
We require the dog to be at least 16 weeks old and have all rounds of vaccinations and be totally up to date.
What is the bordetella vaccination?
This vaccination helps prevent kennel cough. Most vets do not give it unless you request it.
Can my dogs go into the same kennel?
Yes, the kennels are large enough to occupy two large dogs very comfortably.
What do I need to bring for my pet's stay?
Proof of current vaccinations if not previously faxed by vet and enough food for the length of stay in a sealed container. We require rabies, distempter (parvo) and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations for dogs and rabies and feline distemper vaccinations for cats. Your vet can fax these to us upon your request. Our fax number is (701) 746-9193.
Please do not bring large bags of food -- our space for belongings is limited. We provide everything else your pet needs including food and water dishes, beds, blankets, and toys. You do not need to bring these additional items.
Will you administer medication?
We charge $1 per dose of medications and $2 per dose for time sensitive medications
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount.
How long can my pets stay?
There is no limit on length of stay.
Can I tour the facility?
Yes -- please call ahead to schedule a time. We are regularly rotating dogs and for the safety of the dogs, we can not allow anyone but employees in the kennel area at those times. Also, we want to make sure a staff person is available to answer all of your questions.
Can I pick up my dogs if I'm running five minutes late?
We must be strict on our closing times so that we can clean the kennel after hours. Please arrange to pick up your pet before we lock the doors.
How do you charge and what time is check-out?
Check-out time is 11 a.m. the following day. This means that the kennel is reserved for your dog from 7am until 11am the following day. Any time after 11 a.m. is another day's charge for boarding. Please allow extra time during check-out since we have many dogs going home between 10:30 and 11:00 am. We do not charge by a 24 hour rate.
How often does my dog go outside?
If your dog is dog-friendly, he or she will be in our indoor-outdoor playgroup for about 6 - 7 hours per day. We rotate all dogs throughout the day and each dog goes outside approximately every two hours. We start our day at about 6 a.m. and last run is between 8 and 9 p.m.
Can you groom before they go home? Yes, you can schedule a depature service at the time of check in and we do accept giant breeds.
